It’s the beginning, the foundation, the point of clarity where things start. For us, zero also means restart: going back to our roots, to family, and building from there. And just like our modular furniture, zero is also a reset point — the freedom to adapt, rearrange, and create new possibilities when life shifts.

Before starting ze.ro, I spent more than twelve years working on large, complex projects as an architect. It taught me a lot — but over time, I felt the need to work on a smaller scale. To design things you can touch, move, live with. Pieces that become part of daily routines.
Coming back to my roots wasn't a step back. It felt like the thing that was always supposed to happen — building something real, with my family, from the ground up. ze.ro is that. A studio where we work close to material, close to each other, and make objects that stay quietly useful for a long time.
The story began in a family workshop. A father starting a metal workshop over 30 years ago. A brother building a business from it. A sister sketching in the corner.
Today, Zero sits between a studio where ideas take shape and the workshop where they’re made.
